Mr. Guilherme Miranda Mello – Professional Background

Guilherme is a well-regarded expert in international trade and foreign investment activities with over 25 years of experience, a variety of market information access in mining, construction, metallurgy, agribusiness, genetics, telecommunications and consumer products across Brazil, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada and the United States of America. With a very good understanding and expertise in a number of industry sectors, acting on the ground in Brazil and other international markets.

With a degree in Business Administration from the university named UNA-Centro Universitário in Brazil, and extension studies at Ohio State University, USA, he is fluent in English and Portuguese and high level of understanding, speaking and writing in Spanish and French as well.

Guilherme has worked with several companies, institutions, and government entities, providing consulting and management advice on business intelligence, foreign investments, strategic planning, industry scenario analysis, business development, market research, business matchmaking, project structuring, investment implementation and business modelling.

Government Institutions and private companies are the types of structures that he has been assisting for over two decades, servicing clients within a wide range of projects, supporting individuals and groups in consulting and market entry, also for trade missions to Brazil, from the Netherlands, USA, Australia among other countries.

Over the past few years, Guilherme has been dedicated part-time assistance to foreign companies in segments such as Mining, Infra-structure and Environmental & Water Issues, Agriculture and Food Supply to entering in the Brazilian marketplace, exploring different opportunities in different regions of the country.

He has been representing US and DUTCH companies in mining and water & waste projects, facilitating market entry and legislation aspects, as examples of many activities it is important to highlight Trade Shows such as the mining fair EXPOSIBRAM where Guilherme represented together with NBSO(Netherlands Business Support Office) and the PIB group the Dutch tailing dam and water sector.

U.S. companies have been represented by Guilherme for many years in the mining and equipment industries, infrastructure project related actions, as well as other key strategic sectors such as minerals: lithium exploration project, manganese, iron ore, among others, including fertilizers and related in.

He has recently made feasibility analysis (DHI project-base) where he works together with Dutch companies within Brazilian Mining Conglomerate in Brazil in close cooperation with The Dutch Embassy and RVO, as well as NBSO Belo Horizonte.

The Technical and Legal aspects are part of this recent work, and the import facilitation, logistics and such elements for the project to be succeed.

Guilherme is always establishing connections and bringing to the International business community substantial high-level meetings with decision makers and politicians, as he is very familiar with the Netherlands and Brazil business relationships, culture and technical innovations that are being introduced by DUTCH Government and the Environmental and water sector.

He has been able to create several opportunities for foreign clients, opening up commercial channels, distribution network, sales team, technical support as well as strategic partners and joint venture agreements.

The assistance that has been provided by Guilherme allowed companies to generate sales and on the ground presence in the Brazilian marketplace – providing clients the reliance of international support.

Vania is an associate manager at DELFIM Group and  joined our team of consultants in 2022, being responsible for the special projects and coordination of international consulting projects and trade missions.

She is a founder and director of TVZ International and brings over 25 years of experience in international business, working with American companies and U.S. government agencies in international trade, export promotion, market entry strategies, marketing, and foreign direct investment in the United States, assisting foreign companies in entering the Brazilian market and Brazilian businesses in establishing overseas subsidiaries. Vania also navigates trade missions to Brazil and matches businesses with partners. Vania has been participating in multiple trade conferences and webinars as a speaker about opportunities in the Brazilian market.

During the company 20+ years, Vania developed a strong network in a wide spectrum of industrial segments strengths which include Advanced Manufacturing; Aerospace and Aviation; Agriculture and Food Processing; Automotive; Bioscience and Bioproducts; Chemical and Oil & Gas; Defense; Energy and Renewable Energy; Environmental Technologies; Healthcare; IT; Instruments, Controls, and Electronics; Safety and Security, Water and Wastewater; among others.

Vania was previously associated with the USFCS in São Paulo, Brazil, as a Co-Manager of the Trade Events Unit. Her activities included the organization, coordination, and management of the U.S. Pavilions at all trade fair events on a countrywide basis, assisting the Trade Fairs Unit Director in event recruiting, negotiation of trade fair space, and price with prospective exhibitors. Prior to that Vania worked for nine years in the private sector.

Vania received her Bachelor´s Degree in Social Sciences from The Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil in 1993 and graduated in Visual Communication at Escola Pan Americana de Artes in São Paulo. Vania speaks fluent Portuguese and English and has a working understanding of Spanish and Italian.
